You could be standing there with so much great food in front of you that you just don’t what you want to choose. A lot of people end up eating the same thing day in and day out, because it is easier and it saves time.
If you are at a place where other people are on a time crunch there is a pressure not to waste their time, you want to be quick and efficient.
Menus tend to highlight the popular dishes for you, so that can definitely make it easier making a choice. Here are some ideas to bump over that indecision.
1. Build Your Own Burger
Burgers are one of those go to meals, they are always a great solution if you are not quite sure what you want.
This particular choice only really works if you know that for sure you need to eat a burger, but making the choice between the ones that already exist on the menu is not something you are finding easy. Hopefully this won’t dig you further in on the indecision.
2. Vegetable Sampler
If you are a vegetarian, and there is nothing that particularly catches your eye, there is always the option of choosing something that has a variety of vegetables. If you are looking for something that is easy on the stomach, or you want vegetables but aren’t really interested in a salad, this is a great thing.
3. Chef Special
The chef special is always a good choice if you are not seeing something that leaps out at you. It is the dish that usually best represents the cuisine of the restaurant, and it should be really good as it is the thing that the chef specializes in.
There should also be plenty of the special, as it is a popular dish and they expect to have a lot of people requesting it.

4. A Skillet
A skillet is definitely one of those meals that checks all the boxes. It usually has meat, vegetables, and cheese, in some configuration, and they are delicious. Obviously a skillet is not going to be everyone’s favorite thing, but it is a comfort food and if it is a tried and trusted favorite, why not?
5. A Mixed Salad Or Soup
Salads are definitely one of those easy go to meals. It is often one of those things that restaurants give you to eat while you are deciding what you want, and soup kind of occupies that same place. They are great appetizers and you can often pay just a little bit more and turn them into a full meal.
Having a go to is not a bad idea if you sometimes have trouble making a decision. If you are going to a place that you know really well, then you could pretty much pick anything at random and you are going to be making a good choice.
Specials are a good thing, and there are some things that are often highlighted on the menu that you could opt for. Or grab an appetizer while you make up your mind.
