Interesting Facts About CBD Honey Sticks

Honey is a sweet and healthy food that’s been in existence for centuries. But if you mix it with CBD, you’ll get a delicious treat that’s also medicinal. As great as these two contents are separately, imagine how they would be when mixed.

This article gives you some interesting facts you may need to know about CBD honey sticks.

What Are They?

These honey sticks are straws that are filled with CBD honey. You can carry them in a purse or backpack for an exciting CBD treat. There are two broad categories of honey sticks: solid and liquid kind.

The solid one is like hard candy. You can use it to stir hot beverages or suck it. On the other hand, the liquid one is a tube with CBD-infused honey.

These sweet sticks resemble drinking straws. This is why some people call them honey straws. If you find a stick with a full-spectrum extract, it’s possible that it also contains other cannabinoids like delta 8 THC, flavonoids, and terpenes that improve the CBD’s efficacy.

How to Use CBD Honey Sticks

CBD sticks can be used in many exciting ways. If you’re creative enough, you may even come up with your application. The beauty of these honey sticks is that they offer you the option of carrying them with you. Some simple ways of using these sticks include:

* Cutting the straw open and sucking out the honey for a quick and delicious treat.

* Pouring the CBD honey to sweeten your tea.

* Mixing it with your yogurt.

* Drizzling it over your salad.

* Applying the honey on your skin to neutralize pain from stings and burns.

* Moisturizing your lips.

Do They Make You High?

Because most people associate CBD products with highness, this would be a logical question to ask. The answer to the question is no. These honey sticks can’t make you high because they don’t have cannabinoid THC. It’s cannabis products that contain THC that give psychedelic effects to users. The honey in these CBD sticks is created from low-THC strains. That’s why they don’t have effects.

Benefits

The main advantage of these sticks is that they’re portable. Though you can carry a container of CBD honey around, it may be heavy and bulky. CBD honey sticks are light, fit anywhere, and are easy to use.

The honey in the stick has the following benefits:

  1. Suppresses cancer cell growth.
  2. Inhibits seizure activity.
  3. Reduces the effects of psychotic disorders, relieves pain, fights depression, and anxiety.
  4. Reduces inflammation.
  5. Stimulates appetite.
  6. Eases nausea.
  7. Suppresses neurodegenerative diseases.

Downsides

The side effects of these honey sticks are in the honey. They include interference with the liver’s ability to break down other drugs and dry mouth. You shouldn’t be worried about the second downside if you’re using CBD to reduce seizures and manage pain. However, you should be worried about the first effect because it may affect your health if you’re on blood sugar and heart medications. Therefore, you want to talk to your doctor before including CBD honey sticks in your diet.

Conclusion

The use of CBD honey sticks is becoming popular since many countries have legalized CBD products. However, before using these delicious sticks, you need to understand what they are. These facts give you a sneak peek about them.
