All locations offer not only dine-in services, but also curbside and drive-thru services as well.

Dave Poe’s BBQ
Dave Poe’s BBQ claims to have Atlanta’s best BBQ. That’s quite a big statement, so surely you’ll have to go taste their food for yourself?
Ever since 1975, Dave Poe’s been an expert in slow smoking BBQ in a traditional 19th-century pit. In fact, he was the first Grand Champion of the Georgia State BBQ Championship. After that, the accolades wouldn’t stop rolling in.
Back in 1975, Poe co-founded Stump and Sons, which was a family catering business. Later on, he moved onto founding his own Dave Poe’s BBQ.
Today, the restaurant serves up quality BBQ, as well as Redneck Lasagna.
This restaurant offers dine-in, curbside, and carryout services. And like most other restaurants on this list, they also offer catering.
Sonny’s BBQ
Sonny’s BBQ is a chain that has lots of locations not just all throughout Georgia, but also other states like Florida, Kentucky, and Mississippi. They were first established in 1968, when a small family-owned restaurant opened up shop in Gainesville, FL. The first franchise opened in 1977 and from there, everything snowballed.
What’s unique about this chain is they have a Pitmaster program and every location has a certified Sonny’s Pitmaster who grills up the meat. In addition, they do random acts of BBQ, which is a surprise BBQ feast for people who deserve it.
Righteous ‘Que
Righteous ‘Que is a restaurant that was established in 2012 and you’ll find them in East Cobb. You can count on them to serve up delicious homemade BBQ whenever you want. Not only that, but they’ve spent years perfecting everything else on their menu, including sweet tea, pulled pork, and their award-winning homemade oatmeal cream pies!
If you’re throwing a party, you can always try BBQ catering from this establishment too. They’ll provide you with all the food and all you need to do is host your guests. They’ll even perform cleanup as part of their catering service!
Other services this restaurant provides are curbside pickup and takeout.
What’s really amazing about Righteous ‘Que is they run a program called ‘Que for a Cause. They have these days at least once a month; part of the profits from their sales on those days go to local charities and organizations.
Atl Fusion BBQ
Atl Fusion BBQ is owned by a couple that’s originally from St. Louis, MO. They first loved to Atlanta in 2008 and opened a place called Portrait on a Plate Catering in 2012. Today, this business is one of the top catering companies in the area.
Then, in 2018, they opened the doors to Atl Fusion BBQ. Here, they slow-smoke all their meats, which means they’re freshly made.
Not only does this restaurant have a dine-in menu, but they also have a separate catering menu and corporate catering menu as well. So if you’re throwing a party or having a company event, you can always have Atl Fusion BBQ cater for the occasion.
Grand Champion BBQ
This establishment has been in Marietta ever since 2011. Owners Robert Owens and Gregory Vivier actually owned the first location in July of 2011 in Roswell. The restaurant was such a huge success that they opened up multiple other locations in Marietta, Atlanta, Milton, and other cities!
Grand Champion BBQ smokes their meat fresh every night and they boast that they keep going until they run out. You’re in for a treat when you eat here since the Atlanta Journal Constitution awarded them as having the best beef brisket, baby back ribs, and macaroni and cheese. This is only just one award out of many they’ve won.
Not only can you dine in, but you can get food catered as well.
Like Righteous ‘Que, Grand Champion BBQ also donates to good causes. They have a specific donation page where you can fund meals that the restaurant feeds to people such as healthcare workers and fire departments.
